Whoosh whoosh... that's the sound of the police...

Or that's the sound they would make if they were rocking about in a meat wagon with a flame thrower stuck on it!

Hello again you wonderful people!

So with the initial rounds of our heralds of ruin campaign around the corner I have put some brush time in on my force to make sure it's all painted...

Although in the heralds of ruin campaign rules your not allowed to start with vehicles until you have bought a vehicle hanger, the guys (whether they know it or not) have kindly let the local constables have the comfort of riding around in there favourite repressor tank.... after all... you can't expect the poor souls to walk the beat around an entire planet!

So.... I have decided to use a third party miniature for this. The tank you are about to see is from a company called Ramshackle games and is called a Rhebok Apc. The model comes with a fair few options of weaponry and you can choose whether to have it as a tracked vehicle or wheeled, of which I chose the later. You can also choose from bull bars or a 'perp plow' (just made that up) again of which I chose the later. These options are all available, you just tell them which bits you would like and boom.... it's yours.

Anyways... you should check them out and see if anything takes your fancy....

So with a few modifications to the base model I have equipped this Rhebok Repressor tank with a few workshop specific weapons. The heavy flamer turret is a standard component from the manufacturer, I have however added a heavy bolter to the hull mount (which is not actually an option for the repressor) so I can use it as a chimera for my guard army and also a storm bolter to the turret... which is an option.

Below are some pictures of my efforts.... let me know what you think.

And thanks for reading :-)

  1. Oooh, love the perp plow. Turned out looking very aggressive, as you'd hope.
